Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student at Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord and the flautist piano for three years. The money she earned came from an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her budget. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. She left the band when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her solo debut album Diva. This came out in 1992. It was an enormous achievement as well as sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox picked her favorite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go...
