Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage actor, but she's restricted to TV sitcoms. Barone got her first break in this medium after she married Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a season which aired on ABC between 1995 and 1996. Barone was on stage for the first time when she was age five in Detroit when her family moved away from St Louis. Barone was a part of more than 50 plays by the age of 23 mostly for local theatres, as well as university productions. The role she played was Juliet as the twisted young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the leading character of "Monday After the Miracle,"" as well as Juliet also in "Romeo and Juliet." Her first screen appearance was a part-time role in "The Rozary Murders", a cameo in "Ricochet", and her role as the main character in an indie romantic comedy "Just Friends", in 1996. Barone was recruited by NBC between 1990 and 1991 as a stockholder in "Carol & Company" that was a failed project by Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety TV show. Barone has also appeared in a"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She returned to weekly sitcoms as a co-star on "Daddio", NBC 2000 together in which she co-starred with Michael Chiklis. Anita Anita Anita
